2008 Spring Writing Workshops
Experiment with the art of writing

Workshops are eight week, fee-based, 90 minute, 4:00 - 5:30 pm, limited to 10 participants
- Tuition based: some partial scholarships available
- Tuition for classes held in bookstores is $75
- Tuition for classes on UO campus is $95
- Snack & writing supplies provided to fortify creativity

Mess with Words
Exercise your creativity in action packed word-play. Mess with storytelling, make out-loud poems; cut, glue and dangle words. Tell, illustrate, act and imagine both solo and in teams.
Led by S hannon Sprouse, these YWA workshops are hosted by UO Youth Enrichment/TAG and held at 1533 Moss Street (east side of UO campus).

Mentor with an Author
Young writers ages 9-18 meet with an author* while discovering writers your age. Share bits from favorite books, test different writing tips, prepare for publishing, read on the radio & participate in an evening reading. (*See author bios below)

1.) Group size is limited to 10 participants, so reserve your space with full or partial tuition
2.) Print out and complete the registration form found at the bottom of this page
3.) Classes for ages 7-8 make checks out to UO ($95); all other classes make check out to YWA ($75).
